From psychological jargon to silence

In several past years, we've seen so many self appointed individuals and groups mightily whistling a heated dialogue where personal attacks and rumors brewed without no form of maturity.

As a result, discussion lost it's meaning and became a stumbling block against progress, converting the time of learning into confusion. Such a political culture created leadership vacuum that depressed the diaspora Oromo political activity, while further fracturing  the Oromo Liberation Front into various shades.   This political environment also produced few midget minded tugs who currently serve the enemy as a hammer and nail against the Oromo people .

Now, those who created these confusions and leadership vacuum inside the Oromo politics are either aged and retired or they have joined the TPLF dictatorial government and became business men or a spy for their new Tigrean masters. Some whose ego have mattered to them have finally worn-out by the brain fatigue they've created.  The Oromo people who suffered a disappointing performance against their enemy, the TPLF, still want to improve these shortcomings at this era when overemphasizing failure or achievement is rejected.

Just few years ago, many have taken a word or a statement out of context and ignored other important features of a situation just to show their way was the right way.  Others labeled their opponents with titles such as "the enemy or enemy agent" provoking individuals to overreact to the situation and such cognitive distortion spread among the diaspora Oromo communities at a high speed rate.

In short, time was waisted on labeling and mislabeling each other allowing a situation in which real events were ignored propelling the occurrence of emotions that continued running high until finally everyone was tired and went into a depressed mood.  Here, one must keep in mind that almost all of us are a part of such errors which I was guilty of on several occasions.

As it stands right now, some OLF shadow wing leadership have written their own obituary when they officially aligned themselves with the enemy. These individuals also may have been the main reason for OLF's inability to move forward. Now the ghost of confusion and weakness that haunted the OLF for decades posthumously lifted as the OLF is becoming more effective in haunting the enemy and kill it in central Oromia and other parts of Oromia as well.

For this exiting action against the enemy of the Oromo people to bear fruit, it is very important for the OLF to continue seizing the moment to gain control of the current global political events and close those leadership gaps created by the events described above. Seizing the current political event not only exposes TPLF's political and economic bankruptcy and despair but it will help the OLF to re-attract it's former fighters and sympathizers alike.

Achieving this goal requires leadership improvement in area where the OLF contently acquiesced with every body who pretended to be nationalist and bestowed membership status upon them.

It must be very clear that an alliance of the Liberation organization with the enemy of the nation that needs to be liberated is not only wrong but it is a diplomatic blunder at its best and political suicide at worst. Perhaps, one needs to reflect to the near past and retrospectively recollect one's position during the dark and the desperate moments of Oromian's struggling years.

Simply put, creating an alliance with any Amhara, Tigre or Gurage organizations is like shooting one self in the foot  since standing with the enemy of the state of Oromia is what makes any Oromo Liberation Front position a very hard pill to put in Oromians mouth let alone swallowing it for that such a pill is digesting, bitter and unbearable.

To avoid another judgment error, one must revisit Oromian past struggle and honestly reflect on one's own feelings and trepidations to be juxtaposed to the situations of this trying times at hand .  Early eighties certainly isn't too far to forget and conveniently allying with the Habash, who were responsible for the demise of tens of thousands of Oromo university students and conscious minded farmers, business people and professionals.

Certainly, arguments can be put forth from those who see the falling of the Tigrean dictator as an achievement of Liberation  by forgetting the fact that the Habash hate the TPLF for recognizing the existence of the Oromo people as human beings. The Amharas major worry is the disintegration of Ethiopia, the entity that still reflects the Amhara values and norms.

What is true even today is that Amharic is stronger than during the Darg era as movies, dramas and plays are written and conducted at national theaters and private movie houses in Finfinnee and elsewhere in Oromian cities and towns.  Further more, Amharic is used as empire Ethiopia's national language in such a way it is engineered by the Tigrean colonizers to contribute to the quick demise of the Oromo identity.

The crux of the matter that one needs to keep in mind is that the arrogance of the Habash who use the "ETHIOPIAN UNITY" as tactical tool to keep their  language, religion and culture to defeat the identity of the rest of the majority population.

For the Habash who see themselves as creator of Ethiopia and the mentor of their subjects, the political responsibility is to teach us how important it is to keep a nation of state with its territorial integrity, a sovereign nation with three and half million years history remain united.

For these arrogant creatures, the Habash, the development of the Oromo language and culture is anti Ethiopian unity and it is therefore, federalism or the development of the Oromo culture is unbecoming, unrealistic, un Ethiopian, and un accomplishable task, rather it will be a task in vain.

Interestingly, most of these Habash live and work in America where each federal state is fully independent of the federal government jailing and killing, yet they refuse true federalism in their Ethiopia, not because they don't understand how federalism works but they are afraid of the development of the Oromo identity that will grow and culminate Amharic if federalism is allowed.

Indeed, that's what the TPLF, the enemy of the Oromo people, working hard on dreaming about doing away with the Oromo identity as capitalism grow and as the youth starts caring only about fame, money and luxury than being concerned for their identity. For the cousins of the Amhara, the Tigreans see the development of their Tigrean language and culture beyond the development of Amharic that shares 99% communality since both Tigrinya and Amharic link by the Geez, the original language of both Habasha tribes, the Tigre and the Amhara.

Further more, these Amhara and Tigre pro Ethiopian unity live and work in Geneva where several languages are the national language, yet, they hate the Oromo language because they are afraid that afaan Oromo will eventually destroy their language if allowed to develop.

However, the task and the challenge for the Habash and for the Oromians still remains: in that, all the harsh jailing of the Oromo and the murdering that is going on in Oromia by the minority Tigre tribe  will never bring trust among the Habash and the Cush population. For the Amharas who chose to embrace a foreign religions and languages over home grown culture and languages  such as the Oromo, Somalia, Sidama and the like will eventually drive out their own language as English continues to develop in their protected united Ethiopia.

Nonetheless, consistency demands from the two Habasha tribes to have  a throat that be able to call for real action, an action the unites the Africans, not by yelling " kill them all"! but "respect everything African"!, if not in a literal sense of the word, at least in a sense of recognizing the indigenous cultures of Africa, such as the Oromo culture as their own culture.

The Habash should go in their own history books in which they have described the history of the Galla, their devolution in which they transfered political powers via conspiracy and murdering of legitimate people such as Iyasu, their dark moment of political immaturity, the political blunder they have committed ever since they created Ethiopia back in early 1900s, their political mishap, political mis-calculus, or even barbarism that they have committed in Anolee and Calanqoo and now, their desperate moments of struggling years. The vicious circle of Habash political past rears it's ugly head 360-degree revolution and after some twenty odd years, there is no reason to go back to it. There is a great deal that we all can learn from our past and from here on.

At any rate, the OLF has been on the right side of history during the times it struggled to free the Oromo people from the tyranny and the abyss of Abyssinia's long history of deception and trickery, but now, I am afraid, it is  lost millions of Oromians when it is aligning itself with fanatics who ignore the rights of the Oromo and electing to take the wrong path at this crucial juncture of Oromians history.  The hopes of millions of Oromians is to celebrate the beginning of the end of the Habash supremacy not to resurrect it. The chapters of aggression and bigotry should begin to close.

It was high time that the OLF snapped out of its politically motivated, ill timed and ill advised suicidal mission and work hard to create the statehood of Oromia for the rightful owners of the Oromo people. Then and there, the OLF should evolve into a viable opposition party of Oromia by bringing forth a program that would challenge to the formidable task of rebuilding  and reconstructing efforts that its counter part was undertaking since the inception and the formation of a sovereign nation called Oromia.

Regarding the Tigre Liberation Front that is ruling Ethiopia for 21 years today, these bandits only showed innovation to the Amharas flag by adding TPLF's symbol in the middle while ruling 85 million people not as an opposition party of the country but as Tigri Liberation Front. If there is any change, it is only in the area of employing few Oromo servants named OPDO.

Time and again, utilizing the "Ethiopian card" only puts the Oromo people under the Habasha control and dominance since the genesis of Ethiopianism means is the Habash language that both the Tigre and the Amharas want to keep as the official language, the language that is out of tune the entire Cush nations.

Mean while, it is only bullets and Guns that can remove the TPLF, the Tigrean bandits who came and stayed in power by utilizing so much political and diplomatic mischief.  For the Amharas, the Gurages and other minorities who live in Oromia and it's capital Finfinnee, it is crucial to understand that they are not going to be forced to go back to Gondar and Gojam leave their wealth behind.  Oromia will remain to be their country like south Africa did for minority British settlers.
